So by “convertible” we mean a Bomber Off Road handcycle with the capability of being converted from a standard 24″ wheelset to the Surly Clownshoe FAT TIRE wheelset!

• Schwalbe Fat Albert Rear 2.4″ tire, Schwalbe Blackjack 2.1″ front tires

Bomber Fat Tire Specs:

• Surly Clownshoe Rims with Surly Bud and Lou 4.8″ Tires
• Alfine 8 internal Rear hub with Alfine S500 shifter
• Custom rear swing-arm made specific for the Surly setup.

Here’s a short video of how I put my road handcycle of the ReActive work stand as requested.  For more information about the ReActive Adaptations work stand, check out http://www.reactiveadaptations.com/handcycle-work-stands/.  This work stand fits most handcycles (road and off road) & recumbent trikes (both delta and tadpole config).

It’s still a prototype, and it needs some testing BUT here is the Fusion.  An off road handcycle but with a foot crankset for a single leg!  Here’s a little vid of the test ride in the ReActive parking lot.  We’re looking forward to getting the Fusion on the local trails and jeep roads!
